İstanbul-Kadıköy Bull

Kadıköy Bull Statue (Boğa Heykeli): An important symbol of Kadıköy, the Bull Statue serves as a meeting place for locals and tourists. The handcrafted solid bronze sculpture was made by famous artist Isidore Jules Bonheur in Paris in 1864.

Brought to Germany during the German Occupation, the statue was given to Enver Pasha as a present in 1917. After being placed in various spots in the city, the statue reached its current place in Kadıköy in 1969.
